Our studio has a “bring your own towel” policy where you’ll be responsible for your own towel, which are mandatory for cleaning your poles and mats.
If you forget to bring your own towel, we have branded studio towels available for purchase, as well as paper towels. -
When it comes to pole dancing, keep in mind that clothing won’t stick to the pole! Body grips are an important component to pole dancing, so shorts, sports bras, or tank tops are a good option for your first class.
-
Most classes will require bare feet, but you are welcome to wear socks or leg warmers during warm ups. For exotic and floor work classes, your instructor will be teaching techniques that utilize platform heels. If you don’t have a pair, wear socks to your first class and check out the shoes in our retail area. For beginners, 6” or 7” platforms are recommended.
-
We have 45mm Brass poles at our studio.
Please make sure that you DO NOT wear any lotions or oils in the 24 hours before your class. Greasy poles are slippery poles, which does not make for graceful or safe pole dancing. Hydrated skin that is free of oils is optimal for sticking to the pole, so try using a lightweight oil free moisturizer the day before your class.
-
We have 14-foot poles in our studio.
-
Your privacy and comfort is our top priority. Our windows have been frosted so no one outside can see in. Doors will be locked once class begins.
If you are running late, just give your instructor a call. If you have a friend who is interested, but not ready to join in, please get instructor permission for guests who want to watch class. -
Nailing a new trick or choreography is exciting, so we want you to feel free to film and post to your hearts content. Please consider your classmates’ privacy, and if anyone else is in your shot, get permission before sharing.
On occasion your instructor may film classes or take photos for our website and social media. If you are not comfortable with your photo being shared, please let your instructor know at the beginning of class. We will always get students permission before filming. -
As of March 11, 2022, Governor Jay Inslee has lifted the mask mandate for indoor and outdoor activities.
Students are welcome to wear masks if they prefer to, though they will no longer be required. We will continue to maintain sanitary protocols for our equipment, which includes spraying down poles and equipment with alcohol after each use. If you have any health concerns or accommodation requests, please contact us for more info. -
At Lilith we work hard to cultivate a space where students can feel safe to explore and express themselves through movement and sensuality. Our space is inclusive to all, and we respect others in their own expressions of life and art. Verbal or physical aggression, or hate speech of any kind toward staff or other students will not be tolerated. Anyone violating this policy will not be allowed to return to the studio.
